Eyelids flickered closed. Breathing became steady, slow, deep, rhythmic. The mastercore center opened easily. With no other movement, the dialogue began, warm, and to the point.
“Good to see you again, old friend.”
The Professor felt a mutually comforting empathy from each member of the Communion Circle. He responded in kind: “Thank you.”
“We need you for a special assignment.” Right down to business. For them to have contacted him in this way, at this time, he knew it would be something of top level importance.
Each member of the group added a few statements to those of the first speaker. Each member, in turn, gave specific instructions concerning the operation to be undertaken. Each member of this highly secretive delegation contributed, in as few succinct words as possible, a small piece of a much greater puzzle, to be resolved later.
“Our final intention is this…..” The Circle leader then summarized and synthesized the communication of each member very carefully, to make certain that the Professor knew what was expected of him. It was a personal test, as well as a great honor, to be chosen for such an assignment, and the Professor realized how much work he had cut out for himself over the next few months.
“Please begin as soon as you can free yourself from your present obligations. The Aware presence of the Communion Circle allows you to direct our eternal energies into creation.”
With that final benediction, the communication ended as abruptly as it had begun. Faces faded. Breathing rate increased. Eyes flickered again several times, then opened, and the professor lay awake for the rest of the night, planning.
