Belief System

Systems 3 – Belief System:
The Human Belief System is comprised of these elements & activities:

What It Is……

BELIEF SYSTEM: The human Belief System is the total collection of all previously created primary and secondary belief units (or “S & R”.) The Belief System (BS) is non-physical and measurable only by subjective means (by utilizing other Belief System testing procedures). It does not exist at the initial moment of human conception. Rather, its development begins with the first moment of unified experience between the Awareness System and the Sensory System. The BS is a result of blocked/resisted or controlled/assisted energy flow. The BS is a collection of stored energy packets located throughout both the body (SS) and Human Energy Field (AS).

Here’s a unique take on what is included in the Belief System: everything that is NOT a part of the Awareness System or the Sensory System! Put another way, check out this list of “same thing as” for the Belief System:

Beliefs = creations = opinions = axioms = maxims = ideas = programs = thoughts = reasons = excuses = costumes = identities = cognitions = attractions = understandings = desires = personality = traits = interpretations = concepts = deliberations = logic = rules = regulations = plans = measurements = codes = speculations = themes = deductions = boundaries = affectations = conscience = morals = symbols = sentiments = drives = urges = acts = predispositions = propensities = biases = limitations = relations = attitudes = tendencies = theories = mind = egosystem = formulas = customs = equations = psyche = archetypes = laws = judgments = sympathies = empathies = commandments = agreements = truisms = conclusions = characters = perceptions = evaluations = personalities = attributes = notions = self = roles = proofs = facts = definitions = data = standards = Personal Temporary and Illusory Perception of REALITY.

And this list is just for starters. Each of these items listed is a varied formation of a Belief. All of your beliefs, combined, equals your total Belief System. Psychology theorist George Kelly calls this your “Personal Construct System.” To me, it is just our “BS.”

And our BS is made up of increasingly smaller units, just like what we call “Matter” is made up of molecules, which are made up of atomic parts, which are made up of smaller atomic parts, which are made up of …….

So here is the “atomic” nature of a single belief unit:

Components of a Belief Unit

Stimulus (S): Any perceived thing, on any vibrational level, usually perceived through human external sensory receptors, or electro-chemical signals traveling through the internal neural network.

Here are examples of Stimuli:

External – light, trees, a body, music, food, a skunk, …..

Internal – a thought, a memory, a feeling, an inner “video (past or future images)”  playing in a seemingly endless loop, …..

Response (R): Any behavioral reaction, usually physiological, to the action of any stimulus. It can also serve as a new stimulus to activate further responses.

Here are examples of Responses :

External – hitting someone, sitting down, yelling, eating when hungry, playing a game, …..

Internal – trying to block a memory, figuring out what to say ahead of time, daydreaming, creating a new song, …..

Sensation: (“&”): The degree of sensory stimulation Energy perceived by the human, after which that human then chooses whether or not, and how, to respond. It is a perception of pleasurable or painful stimulation to the SS, based on the amount of vibrational energy accumulated in the Stimulus, and the corresponding collection of stored beliefs similar in intensity to that triggering Stimulus.

Here are examples of degrees of sensation:

External – a dull nightlight, a flashlight, bright sunshine, a blinding laser beam, …..

Internal – a dull muscle ache, a memory of falling down and scraping a knee, going into shock and trying to block all feeling, …..

BELIEF UNIT: A belief unit is an accumulation of energy/information; a single recorded and stored pattern/program of
1.) the vibratory energy information provided by a Stimulus (S),
2.) the degree of energy impact (sensation, “&”) of that Stimulus on the SS, and
3.) the intentionally or automatically chosen programmed Response (R) to that Stimulus.

“S & R”: The formula for any pairing of associated stimulus and response, and the degree of Energy sensation stored within the SS that “connects” the two; a Belief Unit.

Here is an example of a Belief Unit (“S & R”):

S = placing your hand on a hot stove

& = the sensation of burning skin tissue

R = removing the hand from the stove top

** When a human experiences a particular stimulating energy event for the first time, the Belief Unit is simply a voluntarily and intentionally created association between the two elements of Stimulus and Response. At the time of any repeated occurrence, it is instead an automatically activated response.

The “S” can also represent one of many previously created S & R’s (belief units), chosen specifically by means of a voluntarily directed electro-chemical impulse (internal stimulation). The “R” can also represent any one of many previously created S & R’s.

Primary S & R (Belief): The smallest measure of a belief unit. It is a directly experienced stimulating event, a painful or pleasurable perception of that event and the voluntarily chosen response to this stimulus.

Here is an example of a Primary Belief: The very first time you kissed someone directly on the lips

Secondary S & R (Belief): Any previously perceived S & R, now acting as a stored stimulus of its own, plus a new painful or pleasurable perception of that belief, plus a new response to that perception, OR a previously associated similar response.

Here is an example of a Secondary Belief: The next time(s) that you kissed someone, whether it was the same “first” person, or another planned romantic connection, or greeting your grandmother at the yearly Thanksgiving holiday get-together.

Single Beliefs versus Cluster Beliefs: When any single belief unit shares the same S or R as another belief unit, both beliefs (and their associated pleasure/pain, and responses) may be stimulated into conscious experience simultaneously. Example: If the color red (a single stimulus) is associated with two separate painful events, then the human may either choose two different responses (Single Belief Unit), or use the same response in both situations (Cluster Belief). Cluster beliefs may become some of the most elaborate and enormous energetic creations stored within the human SS and AS.

Here is an example of a single Belief versus a Cluster Belief:

Single Belief: You visit a strange old house for the first time, and think you hear a ghost

Cluster Beliefs: Your long-lasting fear of entering any unfamiliar houses, lest there be ghosts inside

What It Does……

The BELIEF SYSTEM contains the accumulation of many (millions?) stored BELIEF UNITS:
A BELIEF is a stored accumulation of unprocessed energy, maintained within the two human systems (AS & SS) until such time as the human Awareness System intends to fully experience the stimulating sensation of that accumulated energy upon itself.
Each BELIEF requires SS-generated energy to maintain that storage.

Everything that a Human considers itself EXCEPT the Awareness System and the Sensory System is a BELIEF! The BELIEF SYSTEM’s primary Intention (which is not actually an Aware Intention, but rather an automatic response process) is Self-preservation of only the BELIEF SYSTEM at any cost.

Here is an example of the “automatic response process” connected with the unaware “control” of a Belief:

Attempting to kill yourself because you choose to believe that you might have made a mistaken action or judgement concerning someone else. The “Ego” (Belief System) MUST maintain its limited sense of “right-ness” in any and all situations – no matter the consequences to the physical body!

For how the Three Primary Systems relate to each other, please see the Chapter “Awareness and the Belief Barrier Battle: A Process Parable“.
